This is a beautiful double crust apple pie but it's not just any old apple pie. The local fuji apples from Brooksby Farm in Peabody are tossed in a toffee sauce, maple extract, and Skor candy bits! It makes for a rich apple pie filling that is a real butter bomb when combined with our flaky pie dough. Serves 8.
Ingredients:
Crust: Wheat flour, butter, water, salt egg wash.
Filling: Local Fuji apples, wheat flour, Skor Toffee Bits, butter, heavy cream, brown sugar, sugar, light corn syrup, molasses, corn starch, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple extract, vanilla extract.
